I think the word friendly means nice and kind.On the front cover the giant is smiling at the little girl.
The word “friendly” to me means that you are a kind, nice, and caring person. I think he chose to tell about a Giant and a girl. I know that the Giant is being friendly with a girl. I think the story takes place in a fairy tale book.I think it is in a fairy tale book because there is a Giant and purple moutains in the background. Yes, I would like to go to that place because it would be fun to be in a fairy tale book.
to me friendly means to be kind and trustworthy. Good friends are trustworthy. you can always trust them. I think that the cover illistrator has choosen to tell that big friends are't always bad. If the giant and the girl are smiling they must both be great friends. now I can tell that the giant and the girl are great friends because of the picture. I know that they are great friends. I think that the story might take place in a cold place because there are mountains in the backround. usually when there are mountains it's a cold climate. I don't think that I would like to stay in that cold enviroment because it would always snow and I would get snow-bound.

To me friendly means to be kind. On the cover on The BFG this giant looks very kind, since he is smiling at the little girl. This is why I think friendly means to be kind. These two people look like great friends! From Quentin Blake's illustrations, there seems to be mountains in the back round. This probably means that it is colder in that place. So the setting might take place in an area that has mountains. I wouldn't care to live in that area, this because it is very chilly in the mountains. Plus I'd like to be warm than cold.

In my eyes friendly means a kind and gentle person. A friendly person will like help kid. If it was a giant like in the BFG he would be your friend and be kind. He is telling about a giant and girl .I know nothing about them. Some where in the mountains. I would go there. I never been on the mountains and I want to go.
