Prediction Time!

Sophie makes her own prediction on page 19. "The Giant is running fast... because he is hungry and he wants to get home as quickly as possible, and then he'll have me for breakfast." Do you agree with Sophie? If not, what is your prediction as to what will happen next?

I do agree because it could be a mean giant and the word friendly dose not come to mind when I read it.

I don't agree with Sophie. Since the title is The Big Friendly Giant, it wouldn't be reasonible for a friendly giant to eat a child.

I think that Sophie is wrong because the title said friendly giant not mean giant and it wouldn't make sence for the giant to eat her if he was nice.

I don't agree with Sophie because if the title of the book is The Big FRIENDLY Giant than the giant would be friendly, right? If he's friendly, why would he want to eat Sophie?

I don't agree with Sophie because the title is The Big Friendly Giant. If the giant is friendly he is not going to eat anybody including kids. I know friendly people are not mean.Usually a giant won't eat kids.

No, I predict that the Giant is taken Sophie because she might be in danger. So the Giant is going to take her and be nice to her.
